What we believe
Art in the everyday
No white cube, no ticket. Art lives where people already are — between the billing counter and the coffee, in the nook where you wait for your order.
Artists in the room
Artists stay to interact. They receive feedback, tell the story behind a piece, and showcase it directly. The conversation is half the work.
Community-grown
From the first show of four friends in March 2025, Art Adda has grown month by month — each edition guided by what the last one taught us.
A curated show
Each edition has a curator, who sets its theme and chooses the works that fit it — so what's on the wall tells one cohesive story, not just whoever submitted first.
The space
A simple setup, built to travel.
Wooden shelves, a length of rope, a couple of easels by the door — the format stays deliberately light. The same easy setup that displays a shelf of local work can just as easily hold pieces sent in from another city, or another country — bringing local and global work into the same small room. Small pieces hang on clothespins; larger ones lean against whatever wall is available.
It's a space that asks nothing of a place but a corner, and gives back a gallery.
Who's behind it
Sneha M L and Sharada Arun started Art Adda together. Sneha has been making art since childhood, and spent two decades across communication and product design before her own practice turned toward abstraction — using geometric form to explore personal and philosophical questions. Sharada is a self-taught watercolourist of five years, who came to painting as a meditative practice after a career in IT and a decade spent teaching yoga. Between a designer's eye and a teacher's patience, the two built the Sunday routine that Art Adda has become.
